With a built-in accelerometer, compass-navigation capabilities, and a database of all the celestial bodies readily visible from Earth, GoSkyWatch Planetarium can be used to explore and learn about the universe by simply pointing a smartphone to the sky. The app color-codes planets and stars for easier identification and overlays images onto constellations in real time. The app can also be used to search for a specific star or planet, with arrows that shift according to position, providing a real-time guide to the desired destination.
