While a student in the Design
Interactions program, Revital Cohen
noticed the way that many computer
interfaces try to be as user-friendly
as possible. But are we really so friendly?
Do we really need to be? Cohen notes
that it is easy to feel out of control in
a world increasingly ruled by computers;
with her interface, users can injure
their computers with mouse clicks until
the screen bruises or bleeds, taking
out their frustrations on the computer
until they feel in control again.
