The Journey takes a focused look at how we might use media surfaces to enrich train travel. Currently, train stations are hubs of information, but only of a certain kind: train schedules, routes, and other user-centered data. With this film, BERG proposes a scenario where schedule boards, paper train tickets, and even train signage itself would communicate information that is celebratory and refreshing: bits of history, the flow of traffic as trains, rather than passengers, see it, and other insights that might render one’s journey “a bit less stressful, a bit more delightful.”
