The Wifi Dowsing Rod provides comfort
to people who may be overwhelmed
by current technologies. Mike Thompson
has adapted the familiar form of a divining
rod—believed in the past to be able to
locate underground sources of water—
into a tool that seeks out and indicates
the strength of the unseen wireless
signals that are all around us. Thus
a tool of the past is evoked in fulfilling
the needs of the present.
