Beverly Adams

Beverly Adams joined MoMA as the Estrellita Brodsky Curator of Latin American Art in 2019. Her exhibitions include Frida and Diego: The Last Dream (2026) with Jon Bausor in conjunction with the Metropolitan Opera, Wifredo Lam: When I Don’t Sleep, I Dream (2025) with Christophe Cherix, Indigenism and the Avant-Garde (2022), and Pepón Osorio: Badge of Honor (2021). Before joining MoMA, Adams was the Curator of Latin American Art at the Blanton Museum at the University of Texas at Austin, where she organized The Avant-garde Networks of Amauta: Argentina, Mexico, and Peru in the 1920s (2019) with Natalia Majluf. The catalogue for the exhibition was awarded the Association for Latin American Art Arvey Foundation Exhibition Catalogue Award. Adams holds a PhD in art history from the University of Texas at Austin.
