Each study center has its own focus and policies. For general queries about works in the Museum collection, or if you do not know where to begin your research, please contact the <a href="mailto:library@moma.org">Library</a>.</p> <h2 id="ad_study">Architecture and Design Study Center</h2> <p>The Lily Auchincloss Study Center for Architecture and Design allows researchers access to reference materials related to the Museum’s collection of architectural drawings, models, and photographs, as well as design objects, graphics, and the Mies van der Rohe Archive. By appointment Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 a.m.&ndash;5:00 p.m. For more information, email <a href="mailto:adsc@moma.org">adsc@moma.org</a>.</p> <h2 id="drawingsandprints">Drawings and Prints Study Center</h2> <p>At the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Drawings and Prints Study Center, researchers can access the Museum’s extensive collection of works on paper, including drawings, prints, illustrated books, artists’ books, and multiples. Curatorial files on works may also be available for consultation. Open to individuals by appointment only, Mondays, 2:00–5:00 p.m. (please review <a href="/docs/learn/D&PVisitors4-2014.pdf"> visit guidelines</a>). All course visit requests for the fall 2017 academic semester are due by August 18, 2017, and all course visit requests for the spring 2018 academic semester are due by January 12, 2018. Material on individual works may include archival photographs, label and catalog texts, press clippings, press releases, and correspondence. By appointment Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Call (212) 708-9653 or email: <a href="mailto:pssc@moma.org">pssc@moma.org</a>.</p> <h2 id="photostudy">Photography Study Center</h2> <p>Researchers can use the Erna and Victor Hasselblad Photography Study Center to consult photographs from the Museum’s collection. The Study Center is available by appointment only, on Mondays from 2pm-5pm, October through May. Class visits should be booked at least 3 months in advance. Please note that only 15 people, including the teachers may be present in the room at one time. Individual appointments should be made at least 4 weeks in advance. For more information, please email: <a href="mailto:psc@moma.org">psc@moma.org</a>.</p> <h2>Media and Performance Art Study Center</h2> <p>The Media and Performance Art Study Center facilitates viewings of collection works and provides access to selected related documentation. The Study Center is open by appointment only, Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m, with a minimum of four weeks advance notice. Contact the Study Center using the <a href="/research-and-learning/research-resources/study-centers/mpa_form">online form</a>. </p> <h2 id="filmstudy">Film Study Center</h2> <p>The Celeste Bartos International Film Study Center offers screening facilities for viewing films from the Museum’s collection; a large selection of screenplays and dialogue continuities; extensive files of reviews, articles, and program notes; reference books; special collections; film indexes; and current periodicals. Films and documentation are made available only to scholars, researchers, and students. To request an appointment please fill out the <a href="/research-and-learning/research-resources/study_centers/film_contact">online form</a>. Appointments are available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. All appointments need to be made at least three weeks in advance.</p> <p>The catalog of film collection holdings is not available online. If you have further questions please call (212) 708-9602 or email <a href="mail to:fsc@moma.org">fsc@moma.org</a>.</p> <h2 id="circfilm">Circulating Film and Video</h2> <p>The Circulating Film and Video program makes available more than 1,200 16mm prints covering the history of film from the 1890s to the present, as well as art films from the American Federation of the Arts and 35mm films from The Library of Congress. The program also incorporates an important collection of works by leading video artists, which are available for rental or sale in all formats. For information on rental or sale of films and videos, please see the <a href="/research-and-learning/research-resources/circulatingfilm">Circulating Film and Video Library</a> section for more information.</p> <h2 id="filmstills">Film Stills Archive</h2> <p>The Film Stills Archive is located at The Celeste Bartos Film Preservation Center in Hamlin, Pennsylvania. The collection is available to researchers and scholars by appointment only.
