Guno Park had the opportunity to not only observe art, “but to observe people observing the artworks” for this month’s Drawn to MoMA, in which artists share their own visions of life at the Museum. He visited MoMA on June 16—the last day that the Museum was open for a special Member’s celebration before closing until October—before heading to MoMA PS1, which remains open through the summer. Park’s sketches in situ show moments of interaction and introspection, and the evolving pavilion of this year’s Young Architects Program in Queens.
Guno Park is a Brooklyn-based artist and teacher who sketches the people, places, and things he encounters in his daily life. His work has been featured in numerous publications and collections.
