Make some noise! Explore the unique sounds of various materials, construct sound sculptures, create wearable art, and play with color and sound on interactive digital displays. All ages are welcome.

Art Lab is open daily, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m, and is free with Museum admission.

The Samuel and Ronnie Heyman Family Art Lab is intended for individual visitors and families. Please note that there are capacity limitations and we cannot accommodate groups. To get to the Heyman Family Art Lab, walk across the Sculpture Garden, or down the corridor on the second floor of the Museum (past Café 2), then downstairs to the first floor of the Education and Research Building.

Accessibility

The installation includes sound amplification. Noise-reduction headsets are available upon request.

All-gender and family restrooms are located on Floors 1, 3W, 5, and T1.

Assisted listening capabilities available OC
FM assistive-listening devices (headsets and neck loops for T-coil compatibility) are available for sound amplification upon request.
