Join us for an otherworldly celebration of Halloween and the 100th anniversary of André Breton’s “Surrealist Manifesto.” Enjoy a DJ set, exquisite corpse art making, exclusive access to the Thomas Schütte exhibition and our fifth-floor collection galleries, and a drink at our pop-up bar. Costumes inspired by Surrealist works in our collection are encouraged but not required.
Please register in advance and purchase guest tickets, if needed, for your preferred entrance time, 6:30, 7:00, or 7:30 p.m. Members at the Explore category may bring one complimentary guest without reserving guest tickets; members at the Supporting category and above may bring up to four complimentary guests without reserving guest tickets. Enter through the main entrance of the Rockefeller Building at 11 West 53rd Street only.
Member Evening at MoMA is an inclusive and safe celebration for all. We do not allow masks that cover the full face or costumes that perpetuate discrimination or violence of any kind, including fake weapons or any “dual-use” items that could be considered dangerous to people or art, such as hammers, saws, sharp objects, poles, and sticks. Please review the full policy.
