The MoMA Manhattan Library is located in The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building at 4 West 54 Street, part of the Museum campus in midtown Manhattan. Summer 2018 Closure
The MoMA Library will be closed to the public August 1–31 for annual collections care. While we are closed, we will not accommodate onsite visits or provide remote reference services. We will schedule appointments for September 4 or after, and interlibrary loan services will continue. The MoMA Library will reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 4. We look forward to helping you then, and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Winter 2018 Closure
The MomA Library will be closed for two weeks at the end of December.
Temporary Spring 2019 Closure
In order to focus our staff and other resources on the Museum’s extensive renovation and construction project, the Archives, Library, and Research Collections will close to the public in February 2019 for several months. Exact dates for the scheduled closure will be available in the fall. We are aware of the inconvenience this temporary closure may pose to your research, and hope you understand why this is necessary during this busy and exciting period for us. For further questions about how to best plan for your needs prior to February, please email email@example.com.
All Library materials, regardless of location, require paging a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
