Book with one engraving and drypoints (frontispiece); four prints from line blocks with added engraving, printed in black, accompanying the letterpress text; supplementary suite of three engraving and drypoints (color variants of the frontispiece) and nineteen line-block prints (sixteen made by printing the same four blocks in four color variants: turquoise, yellow, red, and green; three made by printing the same four blocks in various superimposed color combinations); rebound with Hugnet’s handwritten manuscript of the text in red ink (fifty-seven leaves); publisher’s original tan paper cover. Bespoke rebinding and slipcase by F. Saulnier. Rebinding: covers of full red leather over boards; blind tooling around raised bands and gold-tooled title on spine; red and white silk doublures and red endpapers; red-and-black silk endbands; multicolor silk bookmark.
