Venezuelan artist Suwon Lee made this series at major landmarks—such as El Ávila in Caracas—that have appeared in representations of the Latin American landscape throughout history. In each instance, Lee turned her back on the traditional views of the sites, countering them with images that show the current lived reality of those cities.
