In anticipation of the 93rd Academy Awards ceremony on April 25, we’re pleased to re-screen a trio of films—originally shown as part of The Contenders 2020—that garnered the admiration of Academy voters. Members at the Explore category and above are also invited to A Member’s Guide to the Oscars, a live online conversation between chief film curator Rajendra Roy and New York Times critic-at-large Wesley Morris, on Wednesday, April 21. Join us to break down this year’s nominations, talk favorites and underdogs, and celebrate the films of 2020.
