How do we consider architecture through an environmental lens? How does architecture inform environmental justice? Join Ambasz Institute director Carson Chan and research assistant Matthew Wagstaffe for a live online conversation about the surprising relationship between architectural initiatives and the natural world. Highlighting projects featured in Emerging Ecologies: Architecture and the Rise of Environmentalism, they will discuss how preventing a structure from being built is as much an act of architecture as building one, and the ecological questions that arise in response to mid-century America’s pursuit of industrial growth.
