What is queer art? Is it defined by the artist, the subject, or the artist’s methods? Join us for a guided tour of MoMA’s galleries to learn the answers to these questions and more. With a close look at 20th-century artists such as Frida Kahlo, Robert Rauschenberg, and Catherine Opie, we’ll follow the arc of the LGBTQ+ liberation movement and consider its impact on the art world. Can’t make it? Highlights from this tour will also be offered during our MoMA Pride Celebration on June 21.
