Please join us for The Museum of Modern Art’s bimonthly program for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Each program includes a sign language–interpreted private gallery talk focusing on one of MoMA’s special exhibitions, along with a wine and cheese reception.
In November, we will explore how artists use text and language to communicate bold ideas, focusing on Christine Sun Kim’s The Sound of Temperature Rising and the exhibition Barbara Kruger: Thinking of You. I Mean Me. I Mean You. with curator Lanka Tattersall.
Interpreting MoMA is offered free of charge. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
For more information or to register, please email [email protected] or call Access Programs at 212-408-6447.
Image description: A horizontally oriented photograph shows a black screenprinted artwork on a white gallery wall with two blurry museum visitors walking by. On the wall, four black lines arc upwards from left to right in the shape of a half rainbow. A musical note is at the base of each line and four musical notes are at the top of each line. The words “The Sound of Temperature Rising” are printed in black across the top of the wall.
Volkswagen of America is proud to be MoMA’s lead partner of learning and engagement.
