Join us for a series of workshops spotlighting Black artists in celebration of Black History Month. Each week we’ll focus on a different artist and artwork, then create our own project inspired by their process.
This week, go with the flow! Look closely at a vibrant abstract watercolor by Sam Gilliam, then see how your colors blend in your own folded-paper watercolor. Recommended for ages 5+
Materials
Suggested materials: watercolor paints (or other paints that have been diluted); watercolor paper or bristol board; paintbrush or sponge; water
This session will be held online through Zoom, a free video-conferencing software. Participants can access the program using a computer, smart phone, or tablet with a camera and Internet access. Participants may also dial in using a phone line.
