Yuen Woo-ping’s choreography gives the series a rousing final showcase, combining Wing Chun’s close-range precision with hard-hitting exchanges and contrasting fighting styles. Yen brings a remarkable combination of restraint and physical authority to Ip Man, portraying him not as an invincible superhero but as a seasoned master confronting age and illness.
