Join us in the Sculpture Garden to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Birdcage with this special screening. Bring a guest, enjoy the warm weather, and treat yourself to drinks from the Garden Bar.

One of cinema’s greatest off-screen pairs reunites in director Mike Nichols and writer Elaine May’s uproarious 1996 smash success featuring the inimitable comedic duo of Nathan Lane and Robin Williams. In sun-drenched South Beach, Miami, drag club impresario Armand (Williams) with his partner and star queen Albert (Lane) must try to impress their son’s fiancée’s conservative right-wing parents. Heartfelt hilarity ensues.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the screening will begin at roughly 8:00 p.m, or dusk. Please enter through the Ronald S. and Jo Carole Lauder Building entrance at 11 West 53rd Street.
