With Donia Maher, Salma Al-Najjar. A mother/daughter pair, who care for their bedridden husband and father, awake to another day of vigilant caretaking, seemingly like those before and those to come. The minutes seem to stretch into days and the days into nights amid the timeless weight of their efforts and the confines of the apartment. When the daughter decides that she must leave for a few hours, her mother worries that something will go wrong, and new events begin to shift the status quo.
