Discover the many forms weaving can take, including baskets, textiles and clothing, in Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction. Then make your own loom and explore weaving with paper, yarn, and recycled plastic.
Kids and adults participate. Only kids ages five to seven will be permitted to attend.
Members can check in at the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building, located at 4 West 54th Street. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the workshop.

Accessibility
The Cullman Education Building entrance has a power-assist door. Seating options include gallery stools, chairs with backs, and some gallery benches. Wheelchairs and rollators are available by request at all Museum entrances, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible and all-gender restrooms are located in the Cullman Education Building.
Guide dogs and other trained service animals are always welcome.
Assistive listening devices (including headsets and T-coil compatible neck loops) for sound amplification are available upon request with two weeks’ advance notice.
