Join artist Liz Collins, whose work is featured in Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction, for a conversation with Esther Adler, Curator, Department of Drawings and Prints over breakfast at The Modern.

Incorporating basketry, apparel, and more than a century of other textile works, this exhibition broadens the story of abstraction, suggesting that not only ideas but materials—like woven, knotted, and braided fabric—are crucial to its development and success.
