Warm Up 2014 Finale: Week 10 Highlights

Warm Up 2014 has officially ended. The last day was quite the finale—there was a thunderstorm, two special guests, and a packed courtyard that danced for hours. Our secret headliner was Skrillex, who played after surprise guest ILoveMakonnen, Evian Christ, Lone (live), Sophie, and Doss. The Principals returned as our set designers.

Each Warm Up had a unique lineup and energy that kept everyone staying until the very end, begging the DJs for just one more song. We had performers from all over the globe, with some local favorites thrown into the mix as well. Thanks to everyone who worked on Warm Up and helped make it such a wonderful success.

Check out the slideshow, and we’ll see you next year!

Auntie Flo opened the day, followed by live performances by Gabriel Garzón Montano, Archie Pelago, and Cibo Matto, and Mister Saturday Night DJs Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter closed things out.

Even after 43 years, each edition of New Directors/New Films feels like a revelation. Maybe it has something to do with the crisp March air, the unshakeable sense of spring’s impending blossom and bloom.
