Warm Up 2016: Week 2 Highlights

Last week, we were lucky to host a disco-heavy dance party! After DJ Guiddo and Kento Slash Demon opened the show, we had the pleasure of witnessing the genius of Danny Krivit, Nancy Whang’s lively and ecclectic set, and a riveting live performance by MHD.

This week we have the pleasure of hosting a very special secret headliner!

Before they jump on stage, Ya Boy Big Choo & Da Crew, a staple of bounce music, will start the day, followed by Atlanta’s DJ Burn One, who will likely spin some of his “retro future” mixes. Virginia rapper D.R.A.M., following the success of his single “Cha Cha” from his 2015 debut EP, will perform a live set influenced by his early days in the church and the music of the “Grandmaster of Funk,” George Clinton.

In order of appearance this Saturday, June 25:

Ya Boy Big Choo & Da Crew / GameOva Music / New Orleans, LA
DJ Burn One / The Five Points Bakery / Atlanta, GA
D.R.A.M. (LIVE) / Empire, Atlantic Records / Hampton, VA
SECRET HEADLINER

Doors open at noon, with performances running from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Be sure to browse the full summer schedule and buy tickets here before they sell out!

We look forward to welcoming you to Warm Up soon!
