Heavy bass and hip-hop from the Night Slugs crew (Sheen, Helix, and Bok Bok); club bangers and throwbacks from Blaqstarr; and raw, melodic raps from both Despot, and Corbin and Bobby Raps created the perfect fusion of electronic and hip-hop for last Saturday’s Warm Up
A few surprises made the sunny day extra special: Kelela gave a casual yet mesmerizing as always performance during Bok Bok’s set; and a new stage installation from designers 69 was unveiled—an intricately tattered massive sheet of denim, draping an air of summer over the MoMA PS1 courtyard.
Check out this selection of highlights from last week, and join us tomorrow to see what happens when PC Music meets Ed Banger Records, with sets from Lotic, Lafawndah (Live), Danny L Harle, A.G. Cook, Busy P b2b Boston Bun, and Boys Noize!
