• Tonight, join multimedia artist David Maljković—whose video trilogy Scenes from a new heritage is currently on view in the Contemporary Galleries—for a Modern Mondays evening featuring the premiere of a new film depicting the historical and artistic heritage that has influenced his work.
• Drop by the exhibition galleries of Making Music Modern: Design for Ear and Eye on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. for Stratocaster Sessions, and watch a MoMA staff member or other guest play a recently acquired 1957 Fender Stratocaster guitar and 1959 Bassman amp.

• Experiment with artist and writer Emily Spivack on Thursday during Dress Codes: Wearing the Sounds of Björk, a one-night workshop in which participants will look at and listen to Björk’s character and musical transformations. and write their own shape-shifting, “how-to-dress-like” instructions.
• Also on Thursday, the Department of Film presents a weeklong run of Tudor Cristian Jurgiu’s The Japanese Dog, a standout of last year’s New Directors/New Films festival.

• Drop by the Sculpture Garden on Saturday between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to play Yoko Ono’s White Chess Set—a clever take on the competitive game that requires players to work together. This participatory program takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (weather permitting) throughout the run of the exhibition.
