This week we finally get to welcome spring—and spend some quality time in The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden. To round out your visit, here’s what you won’t want to miss this week:
• Join artist Shana Moulton—known for performance-based videos in which she portrays her alter-ego, Cynthia—for a Modern Mondays discussion tonight. A selection of her videos will be presented, followed by a Q&A with the artist and a special appearance by composer Nick Hallett.

• On Wednesday the Department of Film kicks off its annual New Directors/New Films festival, presented jointly with the Film Society of Lincoln Center, with first-time writer-director Marielle Heller’s The Diary of a Teenage Girl, featuring Alexander Skarsgård, Kristen Wiig, and newcomer Bel Powley.
• Explore Making Music Modern: Design for Ear and Eye after hours with a one-night class on Thursday that includes an exhibition tour, in-gallery games using album covers, and a trip downtown to enjoy live music.

• Don’t miss a last chance to see The Paris of Toulouse-Lautrec: Prints and Posters with an intimate toast and tour on Saturday, and see the artist’s iconic depictions of Belle Époque Paris before the exhibition closes on Sunday.
• And on Saturday and Sunday, the youngest modern art lovers can participate in free gallery talks and activities, which this weekend include Follow the Lines (Tours for Fours)</a> and Picturing People (A Closer Look for Kids)</a>. Space is limited so be sure to arrive a little early.</p>
