What event in your life would you create a painting of?

Guadalupe Maravilla makes retablo paintings. They are about his life. This type of art comes from Spain and Latin America. They have existed for thousands of years.

Retablos often honor saints and describe religious miracles. To make this one, Maravilla worked with a traditional retablo painter. It tells the story of his name, birth date, and how he survived cancer.
