MoMA is staying open late on the first Friday of every month and admission is free just for New Yorkers! Our galleries are constantly changing to share new artists and ideas, and we want you to be a part of it.

Join us for this special monthly evening for all ages that celebrates the art and the city that we love. Enjoy music by DJs from The Lot Radio, along with beer, cocktails, and more at our pop-up bar. Explore in the galleries, get creative with drop-in drawing sessions, and see a film in the theaters. Our stores and café will be open, too, so you can grab a bite in Cafe 2, get drinks at The Modern, or shop for unique design objects from MoMA Design Store.

Tickets, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., are free for New York City residents but must be reserved in advance (up to two adults), and are subject to availability and proof of residency. For each event we’ll release tickets one week in advance—sign up below for a reminder to get first dibs. Same-day film tickets are also free for New York City residents, available on-site, after 4:00 p.m.

Admission for visitors from beyond the five boroughs, and affiliates is also available. Members and their guests are not required to reserve tickets in advance.

Enter at our main entrance at 11 West 53rd Street, close to Sixth Avenue, next to the Museum Store. UNIQLO NYC Nights tickets permit entry to all Museum galleries and exhibitions. COVID-19 vaccination and masks are no longer required, but strongly recommended for all visitors to The Museum of Modern Art and its Stores. Learn more about our policies and see what’s on now.
