Additional artists will be announced throughout the summer. The lineup is subject to change.

In celebration of the 20th season, Warm Up is partnering with New York City's Know Wave on a series of weekly radio programs and a line of limited-edition merchandise. Each Saturday, Warm Up Radio will broadcast live from MoMA PS1, featuring special coverage of Warm Up artists, curators, and members of New York’s creative community—giving listeners unique, behind-the-scenes access to one of New York City’s longest-running museum music programs. In addition, Know Wave has created an exclusive Warm Up-inspired capsule collection that will be available on-site at Warm Up and online at know-wave.com.

Over its 20 seasons, Warm Up has featured more than 750 artists, including pop artists Solange, Jamie XX, and Grimes, experimental musicians Arca, Black Dice, and Four Tet, and legendary DJs like DJ Premier, Ritchie Hawtin, and Kim Ann Foxman. As one of the longest-running music programs within a museum, Warm Up has a history of supporting emerging artists and providing a platform for experimentation, unique collaborations, and new material.

An integral part of MoMA PS1’s contemporary program, Warm Up provides an opportunity to engage with today’s most experimental and innovative artists across media. Audiences are encouraged to visit the exhibition galleries and experience MoMA PS1’s diverse exhibitions of emerging artists, new genres, and adventurous work by recognized artists. Warm Up 2017 will take place within a site-specific installation by Young Architects Program winner Jenny Sabin Studio made of photoluminescent textiles that transform over the course of a day.

During a Warm Up event, MoMA PS1's regular admission policies do not apply and group visits and tours are not available. A limited number of galleries are accessible during the event, and galleries may close early. Warm Up takes place rain or shine.

MoMA members, MoMA Corporate Members, MoMA Corporate Student Members, MoMA admission ticket holders, MoMA Annual Pass holders, other museum staff, and unauthorized members of the press do not receive complementary admission to Warm Up.

Mandatory bag check occurs upon entry, and MoMA PS1 reserves the right to decide what objects are allowed on the premises.

Outside food and alcohol is not permitted. For those with event admission, M. Wells Dinette serves cocktails and food from Noon–9 PM.

Entry and re-entry are not permitted after 8:40 PM.

Warm Up 2017 is organized by a dynamic curatorial committee led by Eliza Ryan and Imogene Strauss, featuring new members Mattis With (Young Turks), Venus X (GHE20G0TH1K), and Naomi Zeichner (YouTube), alongside returning curators Dean Bein (True Panther Sounds) and Matt Werth (RVNG Intl.), with Taja Cheek, Curatorial Assistant, MoMA PS1 and Rosey Selig-Addiss, Associate Producer, MoMA PS1.

Special thanks to Resident Advisor and Ace Hotel New York, official hotel of Warm Up 2017.
