A set of new 35mm prints featuring the pioneering works of master animator Norman McLaren (b. Scotland, 1914–1987) has been arranged by the National Film Board in Canada, where the artist spent his forty-year career. This eleven-film program, presented on the occasion of a new DVD set of McLaren's complete works, emphasizes the imagination, vitality, and astonishing versatility of the artist's animation.
