The Manhattan Borough Arts Festival Visual Arts Exhibit is an exhibition of works created by New York City public school students from kindergarten through 12th grade, all of whom attend school in Manhattan. This year’s show includes 127 pieces, representing 77 classrooms and 60 schools. As we move ahead into a post-pandemic world, we continue to encourage our students to reflect on the past and lessons learned, while also looking forward and envisioning their futures. Their work and their words reflect not only mastery of product, but also a depth of knowledge around process, and a self-awareness that will shape them as people for years to come.
