In conjunction with New Works/New Acquisitions, Gillian Wearing’s Drunk (1997–99), a three-channel video and sound installation, is presented in The Yoshiko and Akio Morita Gallery. This major work appears to situate subjects and viewer in a shared space, questioning notions of power balance and objectification.
