One of the most popular Brazilian composers and a bossa nova pioneer, Antonio Carlos “Tom” Jobim is perhaps most famous for compositions like “The Girl from Ipanema” and “Desafinado.” In this delightful documentary, Pereira has assembled a career-spanning selection of Jobim’s music, performed both by the composer himself and by legendary musicians like Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Caetano Veloso.
