For her presentation at MoMA, Eartheater has created a special intimate performance for the Sculpture Garden encompassing material from her recent album Powders and reprising acoustic material from her previously released Phoenix: Flames Are Due Upon My Skin. She will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Pablo and longtime collaborators LEYA (harpist Marilu Donovan and vocalist/violinist Adam Markiewicz), with whom she has previously released the EP Angel Lust. Ren G will shape the sounds of the garden with a multigenre DJ set before and after Eartheater’s live performance.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and director Eartheater crafts soundscapes that blend electronic and acoustic elements. Her music embeds complex emotions, atmospheres, and narratives through rich harmonics and a dynamic interplay of tension and release. Eartheater’s whistle tone and octave-hopping vocals contrast with moments of deliberate restraint, resulting in records that are at once romantic, lavish, and playful. Eartheater has released six studio albums, most recently the alternative pop opus Powders (2023).
The New York City–based, Long Island–born artist, vocalist, DJ, and producer Ren G combines hypnotic lyrics and emotive vocals with upbeat rhythms and deep-synth beats. Acclaimed for her vocal prowess and innovative mixes, she merges elements of dance music, hyper-pop, and K-Pop. Drawing inspiration from early 2000s pop stars and her eclectic family collection of 80s music, Ren G brings a vibrant, contemporary flair to electro-clash nostalgia. Former member of the pop project Club Eat, Ren G released two EPs and one album, titled START (2023), along with remixes for artists such as Isabella Lovestory and The Hellp.
LEYA bridges multiple worlds, creating music that integrates Medieval song and modern folk with their own classical-meets-pop language. The New York City–based duo features harpist Marilu Donovan, whose unique tuning system was designed for LEYA, and vocalist/violinist Markiewicz whose operatic, multilingual singing and warm string tones culminates in a sensual, otherworldly sound. Their extensive body of work spans two albums, a collaborative mixtape, a collaborative EP, a pornography, major fashion house commissions, film and dance scores, visual art installations, and numerous singles and features.
