Join us for an unforgettable evening at MoMA’s Young Patrons Council Party. This exclusive event marks the exciting renaming of our beloved Junior Associates as MoMA’s Young Patrons Council, and we invite you to celebrate this milestone with us in style. Mingle with fellow art-lovers underneath artist Carolina Caycedo’s stunning Spiral for Shared Dreams installation, and enjoy curated cocktails, dance the night away with your friends, and step inside MoMA’s second-floor collection galleries for an after-dark viewing of works from the collection from the 1980s to today. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic occasion.

About MoMA’s Young Patrons Council
Since its founding in 1990, The Young Patrons Council of The Museum of Modern Art (formerly The Junior Associates) has established itself as one of New York City’s most respected young patrons programs. A diverse community of art enthusiasts, emerging collectors, arts professionals and artists, The Young Patrons Council is an integral part of the MoMA family, participating in and supporting modern and contemporary art initiatives both at the Museum and within the greater art world. Over the years, The Young Patrons Council has made a significant philanthropic impact at MoMA and MoMA PS1, raising millions of dollars in support of major exhibitions, acquisitions, film series, and educational programs. Through exclusive access to galleries, artist studios, private collections, and curatorial tours, members of the Young Patrons Council have the chance to build lasting relationships with artists, collectors, curators, and their fellow members.

Visual artist and DJ Azikiwe Mohammed (also known as DJ Black Helmet) lives and works in New York City. His multidisciplinary practice—which merges painting, photography, sculpture, performance, and found ephemera—explores historical inaccuracies and current patterns of thought, and aims to highlight the experiences, needs, and subjectivity of people of color in America. Sonically, he attempts this weekly on his WFMU radio show Your Boy Black Helmet Radio.
