MoMA Teens Film Club is back! Join us for a screening of Julia Baylis and Sam Guest’s Wiggle Room, which follows a determined teenager who confronts a shady insurance agent to save her wheelchair ramp from repossession.
Following the screening, we will talk with Julia and Sam about their careers in the film world and their creative process. A reception will follow.

Julia Baylis and Sam Guest are a writing/directing duo who collaborate under their production company, Anarene Films. They’ve had projects premiere at Sundance Film Festival (2021, 2023), SXSW, Palm Springs Shorts Fest, and SFFILM. Their short film Wiggle Room premiered at Sundance 2021, where it won a Special Jury Award and was picked up for distribution by Searchlight Pictures. They also curate an annual shorts program at the Sag Harbor Cinema, dedicated to exhibiting the work of local filmmakers.
MoMA Teens Film Club is a series of screenings of work by filmmakers and artists with deep connections to New York City. This program is for folks ages 16–22.
