Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo) were childhood friends in Seoul with a special bond, until Nora’s family suddenly emigrated from South Korea. Decades later, they reconnect in New York, where Nora has built a marriage and a career as a playwright, revisiting their past and brushing up against what could have been. Greta Lee is magnetic in a vivid tale of love and friendship that crystallizes the moments that make up a life, and Celine Song delivers one of the most memorable directorial debuts of recent years.
