Suffering from rapidly failing eyesight and struggling to identify the ghostly presence that threatens her, a young woman races against time and her increasing disorientation to solve the mystery of her sister’s death and the sudden disappearance of her husband. Coproduced by Guillermo del Toro, Julia’s Eyes exemplifies his commitment to his Spanish roots, his active support for creative talent, and his delight in all things supernatural. Artist Rob Jones used braille in the design of an alternate, screenprinted poster for the film, issued by the Texas-based Mondo company, which is currently on display in the Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio gallery exhibition.
