Meret Oppenheim had a radically open concept of art that encompassed found objects, collage, painting, sculpture, drawing, relief, jewelry and clothing design, and public projects. Join us for an intimate conversation with Lisa Wenger, the artist’s niece, who will share memories of her aunt, and discuss artworks included in the new exhibition Meret Oppenheim: My Exhibition during a live online conversation with curators Anne Umland and Lee Colón. Together, they will highlight moments in Oppenheim’s long life as a creator of surprising, challenging, and playful things.
