What is the revolutionary potential of urban gardens? What can plants teach us about gentrification and community resistance? Join us to consider these questions at a live online conversation with curator Jody Graf and artists Danielle De Jesus and jackie sumell, whose work is featured in MoMA PS1’s new exhibition Life Between Buildings. Inspired by and intersecting with the history of community gardens, the exhibition explores how artists in New York City have engaged public space through a political and ecological lens.
Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Matthew Schrader is unable to participate in tonight's program. Jody Graf will be discussing his work in his absence.
