Join a conversation with City University of New York (CUNY) students about the art that speaks to their personal connections and identities as New Yorkers. This session is facilitated by the 2021 CUNY Student Ambassadors, including Connor Henderson, Demily Soler-Alemañy, Hannah Arroyo Rivera, Inty Sinche, Josiah Ramesar, Kimoy Morris, Leroy Chen, Leticia Lobato-Gaudioso, Liz Rubel, Maryam Chadury, Marys Castillo, Monae O, Taneisha Bailey, and Wendy Barrales.
In Shifting Perspectives, MoMA staff, artists, and art professionals facilitate casual conversations about their experiences finding personal connections with artwork in MoMA’s collection. Each will introduce one artwork, then we’ll gather to discuss questions related to themes and ideas that resonate with the group. No experience with or prior knowledge of art history is required. Grab your favorite drink or snack and log on!
