Join artist Andres L. Hernandez for a virtual, collaborative experience exploring performance scores—written instructions for actions—as a way to write ourselves, our desires, and our commitments into the world. Connect with the embodied experiences of other participants through free-writing exercises and performance activities using Zoom, and engage performance scores as a creative, caring, and political practice.

This workshop expands on questions about access, mobility, and care raised in the exhibition Amanda Williams: Embodied Sensations.

Andres L. Hernandez is a Chicago-based artist, designer, and educator who reimagines the environments we inhabit, and explores the potential of spaces to support creative production, public dialogue, community building, and social action.
