Have you ever felt so moved by music that you wanted to sing, to dance, to draw? Join us as we look closely at works by Norman Lewis, Vasily Kandinsky, and Elizabeth Murray that may have been inspired by music and sound. Then create your own abstract artwork as we listen to a sampling of different musical pieces.
Little Member Morning is recommended for kids ages five to 10. Caregiver participation is optional, but we recommend that a caregiver is close by for younger kids. Have the following materials on hand: four to five pieces of paper and colored pencils, markers, cray-paz, or crayons; or four to five thick pieces of paper, watercolors, a cup of water, paint brushes, a sponge, paper towels, and something to protect your table surface.
