Explore creeping critters big and small by artist Isamu Noguchi, then make your own animal-inspired sculpture.

Materials: air-dry clay, modeling clay, or dough (store bought or make your own*); optional extras: a chopstick or fork
*Homemade dough recipe
Ingredients:
1 cups of flour
1/2 cup of salt
1 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1 cup of water
Food coloring
2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
- Combine everything except the oil in a bowl.
- Pour the oil into a saucepan and put it on the stove over low heat.
- Add the flour mixture and stir until it forms a stiff ball.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
