When his soldier son is killed in Iraq, a veteran, unable to bear the burden of burying his son alone, reaches out to his Vietnam buddies to accompany him on the terrible journey to Arlington National Cemetery. In a 2017 interview, Cicely Tyson said she joined the cast specifically because she was eager to work with director Richard Linklater.
