Frequent Pope.L collaborator Lydia Grey discusses her photo and video documentation of the artist’s provocative performances, which use abjection, humor, endurance, and absurdity to undermine rigid systems of belief. The conversation is moderated by Danielle Jackson, a curatorial assistant in the Department of Media and Performance.

Grey is an artist and curator working in video, performance, photography, and conceptual collections. Her work probes questions around sensory perception, shifting perspectives, and memory.
