Dayanita Singh discusses her work Museum of Chance (2013) with Lucy Gallun, associate curator in the Department of Photography.
One Work is a conversation series that features contemporary artists talking about the stories behind one specific work on view in the galleries. Each program, moderated by a MoMA curator, addresses audience questions and offers insight into the artist’s process. Taking place on the first Thursday evening of the month during museum hours, the program includes museum admission, so visitors can view the featured artwork before and after the program.
Museum of Chance (2013) is on view on Floor 6, in Surrounds: 11 Installations.
Program length: 60 minutes
This event is free with museum admission, but requires a separate ticket. Tickets will be available at any ticketing desk on the day of the event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
