Jackie Winsor discusses her work Chunk Piece (1970) with Christophe Cherix, The Robert Lehman Foundation Chief Curator of Drawings and Prints.

One Work is a conversation series that features contemporary artists talking about the stories behind one specific work on view in the galleries. Each program, moderated by a MoMA curator, addresses audience questions and offers insight into the artist’s process. Taking place on the first Thursday evening of the month during museum hours, visitors can view the featured artwork before and after the program.

Chunk Piece (1970) is on view on Floor 4, Gallery 400, in New Monuments.

Program length: 60 minutes

This event is free with museum admission, but requires a separate ticket. Tickets will be available at any ticketing desk on the day of the event, on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event will be live-streamed.

American Sign Language interpretation and CART captioning is available for any public program, with advance notice. Please email [email protected] to request sign language interpretation with two weeks notice or to request CART with three weeks notice.
