MoMA PS1’s pioneering outdoor music series Warm Up is one of the longest running music programs housed within a museum. As an integral part of MoMA PS1’s curatorial program for more than 20 years, Warm Up seeks to elevate innovative and underrepresented voices: emerging and established, local and global, and across genres.

Warm Up 2016 is programmed by a curatorial committee selected by the museum to represent a wide spectrum of expertise and experience in music, sound, and the performing arts, resulting in a unique line-up of artists that explore, interpret, and combine genres. Organized by Taja Cheek, Curatorial Assistant; Rosey Selig-Addiss, Associate Producer; and Lucy Lie, Production Coordinator. The Warm Up 2016 curatorial committee includes Dean Bein, True Panther Sounds; Jace Clayton, DJ /rupture; Jonathan Galkin, DFA Records; Eliza Ryan; Brandon Stosuy, Pitchfork; Imogene Strauss, Cool Managers; and Matt Werth, RVNG Intl.

Warm Up 2016 features rotating stage environments by young, emerging design talent—including Anous and Arnold, Mimi Bai, Bittertang, CONFETTISYSTEM, Nitemind, Sit and Read, and Justin Sloane.
